IT ALL STARTED WITH ONE SPECIAL GIRL…
Some things begin on their own without a conscious decision or choice. Fate makes paths cross and a path is started. That is the case with Lily’s Pad Rescue. On February 6, 2015 Mama and DaddyPad (then known just as Rachel and Ken) adopted Lilypad. Her name prior to that day was LuLu. Lil was a 15 week old English Bulldog with Spina Bifida and as a result she was fully incontinent and had to wear diapers inside. The space she snuggled into in Rachel and Ken’s hearts opened the door to many more to come and the birth of Lily’s Pad Rescue.

This rescue is very near and dear to our hearts. Without Lily's Pad Rescue, VP Harper wouldn't have come into our lives. Something magical happened when one of the hoomans stumbled upon this gorgeous Chiquita. All it took was just one look at that sweet face and it was settled. Â
Because of Little Miss Harper, we have learned that Spina Bifida isn't something to be afraid of. These spunky puppers can live full and happy lives. They will bring you humor you never knew possible, and give you experiences you will definitely never forget. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would laugh so much over 💩, but here we are, and I wouldn't change it for anything.
